Reduce power when using fixed point only

If one were to use the new Integra device using an existing fixed point ONLY DSP code application, is there a possibility to power down the floating point capability of the DSP to reduce power consumption?

Tom,

The C674x Instruction Set is a Superset of the C67x+ and C64x+ ISAs so it supports both Fixed and Floating Point instructions. You can use only one type if desired but you can't "turn off" the other type.
