TDA4VM: An Example of using timer interrupt in MAIN domain R5F

Unfortunately, no, there is no example, it is pretty straight forward, i think for few timers, interrupt is directly connected, so you just need to configure isr for it. Please refer to TRM for it.

Thanks for your reply. The timer I used was directly connected indeed (timer 12) so I could configure it. 
My issue now is how to configure the clock to be used with the prescaler values found in the CSL driver. 
Any leads or examples on how to configure the clock for different peripherals?

Sorry, what clock value do you want to configure for the timer? If i recollect, timer clock is set to system clock, which is 19.2MHz on the EVM. What do you want to change here?

Okay, so the timer is directly connected to the system clock without any PLLs to be configured? If so, the prescaler values for the timer are directly applied to the 19.2MHz (or whatever matches it in a custom board) ?

Well that's the default clock source for the timer in the SDK..
