TMDX654IDKEVM: UART stopped working

Tool/software:

My company is using the TMDX654IDKEVM evaluation board for Profinet testing with ARTT.

We purchased it on July 2024.

Suddenly the UART stopped working.

When I connect it to any computer with a micro-USB cable, it says "device not recognized".

I tested it with different cables and different computers, and I tried to reinstall the drivers of FT4232H, without success.

Is there a way to repair it or restore it in service?

Note: the red LED LD18 is on, but this is not documented in the technical user guide. I am not sure whether it was on before the UART failure happened.
