AM5726: USB2_drvvbus

Part Number: AM5726

Tool/software:

Hi TI Experts,

In the AM5726, customer wants to use USB2.0. However, one of the pins, USB2_drvvbus (which should act as the enable signal for supplying 5V), is already occupied by a general-purpose IO. If customer enables USB2, will this pin become uncontrollable? Customer concern is that when using USB2, this pin might automatically be driven high as part of the USB functionality, preventing its use as a regular IO pin.

May I know if there will be any potential effects/risks for doing so, and do you suggest customer have to modify the board?

Thanks,

Kevin
