PROCESSOR-SDK-AM62X: Request to Load Ubuntu OS on E3 Evaluation Board

Thank you for clarifying that Ubuntu isn't supported on the AM62x processor. Could you please provide a list of which operating systems are officially supported for the AM62x platform? I'd like to know all the compatible options so I can choose the most appropriate one for my project.

Which Linux distributions specifically are supported.

If there's a recommended OS for development purposes.

Whether there are any community-supported options even if not officially supported.

If there are any plans to support Ubuntu in the future.

If you open the link I provided in my previous post, and click the red "Download options" right to "PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM62X", you will see Yocto, buildroot and Debian are supported. You can choose the one which fits your project.

I am not aware of a plan to support Ubuntu.

I am using the standard TI SDK for the AM62x processor. In that setup, the boot partition contains the TI SDK's OS, and I provided the Ubuntu root filesystem (rootfs) in it. However, even after doing that, I am still encountering an issue and not getting the Ubuntu login prompt.

It sounds like a Ubuntu problem. I am unable to comment on it since we don't validate Ubuntu on AM62x.
