AM62P: Watchdog Reset not Working From Linux

Part Number: AM62P

Tool/software:

We are working with custom hardware based on the AM62P processor.

My goal is to verify the watchdog functionality in Linux by triggering a board reset using the watchdog timer. To test this, I performed a simple watchdog test by touching the /dev/watchdog file and leaving the device idle.
I expected the device to reset or reboot after the default timeout (60 seconds). However, in my tests, the device remains powered on, and no reset occurs.

Could you please let me know what could be not right preventing the watchdog reset working as expected on AM62P from Linux ?

Below is the complete console output:

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/791/AM62P_5F00_Watchdog_5F00_Linux_5F00_Reboot_5F00_Not_5F00_Working_5F00_logs.txt

Additionally, here are the links to the Linux device tree:

From a software standpoint, we are running nearly the latest version from TI Tag 10.01.10.

Thank you.

Parth P
