AM62A7: AM62A7

Part Number: AM62A7
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SK-AM62A-LP

Tool/software:

Hello,

We have built our custom board around AM62A7 using TI SK-AM62A-LP as a reference. We have an LCD panel on DPI RGB 24 interface as against the DPI-HDMI Bridge on the SK-AM62A-LP.

While everything is working as expected we have a color fringing issue around bright spots on the LCD screen while playing videos and also while display of static images.

Our analysis has found that the Pixel Clock settings are not correctly applied even having made relevant changes. No matter what we do, either using a patch on Kernel or a patch on tidss_dispc.c file the data always changes on the negative edge of pclk while we want it to change on positive edge as per the LCD specs.

We have also tried the same using dts but didn't get the results this way either.

Please point us to right place or a right way to achieve this change. We have exhausted all options and any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Arif
