AM4376: How to configure crypto Hardware Accelerators in JAVA program

Hi,

I am running JAVA web server on RTLinux(SDK 8.02) in MA4376 processor. Execution time of algorithm is too high approximate 13 sec on 300Mhz clock speed. I can't change clock frequency at current stage of project.

To optimize execution timing, planning to use crypto Hardware Accelerators, but i am not clear how to configure accelerator in java code.

Please provide me java integration procedure.

Hi Vipin,

I am not familiar with JAVA or web servers, but Linux exposes crypto hardware accelerator through kernel cryptodev module, any user space application can use the cryptodev module interface to access the crypto hardware accelerator. Please see the parameter "-engine devcrypto" in the openssl use cases in the documentation linked below.
