DRA821U: Low Power Modes

Part Number: DRA821U

Tool/software:

Hello,

I couldn't find a lot of information about the power consumption in general and for the different low power modes in particular.

Could you please provide

1/ an overview of the approximate power consumption for each low power mode.

2/ Are there any restrictions on the wakeup sources (GPIO, CAN)

3/ where to find documentation of SuspendToRam mode

Thank you in advance.

Dhafer

  • - DDR Retention mode:
~660uW on the SOC supplies at Tj 40C
The LPDDR4 also consumes current on the order of milliamps on its supplies.

    - I/O Retention mode:
same power range as DDR Retention at Tj 40C

The I/O is detecting the event, not the IP. So, no, the IP is not critical to the wakeup source.

  • Hi Kevin,

    Thank you for your reply.

Do you have an idea if there is any documentation provided regarding SuspendToRam mode.

If not, is there any information you can share regarding this.

    Regards,

    Dhafer
