Enabling ADB via USB

Dear,

I have 8168 EVM with daughter card. It supports "ADB via Ethernet'"

But I would like to enable "ADB via USB". What is procedure to enable "ADB via USB" in 8168 EVM board?

Hi Soibam,

1. As 8168 has only one usb port, we have not validate ADB over usb yet. ADB over ethernet has been validated through.

2. However you can validate the same using following procedure.

3. we will also try to get it up on our side.

Dear Satish,

I follow instruction provided in above link. I used same vendor ID(18d1) in connecting Host to EVM board. but I could not succeed.

What is procedure/command to find vendor ID supported in EVM 8168 (DDR3) with daughter card.

Hi Soibam,

Please enusre that your kernel is properly configured to support ADB gadget.

please connect board to PC via ADB cable and run "lsusb" command to see VendorID.
