TMS320VC5509A: TMS320VC5509A program failed when loading software

Hi Expert,

The production program failed when loading software. X'ray checks that there is no abnormality in the solder ball soldering.

Re-heating the IC Date code 39C on the board(using a BGA desoldering machine) still does not work. Replacement a new IC (Date code 34C) from board and loading software were successed. But the replacement a new IC (Date code 39C) still cannot be loading software successful. The same result was obtained on two different boards.

Total failed quantity:78

Total units run:300

Could you help to fix this issue?

    Can you please describe the specific failure mode? I cannot help unless more information is provided about exactly how the production test program is failing. Do you mean that no software at all is running? Or that software runs and fails in a specific way?
