DSP comminucation in DM8168 with DVR RDK

Hi,

My question is,How to communcate between ARM A8 an DSP in DM8168 DVR RDK.

Can anyone guide me for getting started.

    Hi,

    I know it's possilbe to invoke DSP for Cortex-A8 by using EZSDK at least.

    Hope it can help you.

    Hi,

    We have a A8 <--> DSP framework as part of DVRRDK (01.06.00.xx onwards). The McFW userguide already has details of the way DSP can be used to run the algorithms. We have supported bitmap overlay on video data in a DSP algorithm and also supported tamper detection on DSP.

    You can refer the above examples and start using DSP for your own purpose. Please let us know if you have any specific questions that i can try to answer.
