Tool/software:

Customer used DFU_flash.py from SDK/bin/ folder on AM62x SDK, wants to use it on AM62L, find it is excluded from latest SDK of either AM62 and AM62L, is it dropped or discontinued?

AM62L: SDK11.00.05.02

AM62: SDK10.01.10.04

Hi Tony,

AM62x Linux SDK now supports flashing via snagfactory tool: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62X/10_01_10_04/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components/Tools/Flash_via_Fastboot.html

For AM62L, I think the snagfactory tool is not yet supported in the Linux SDK.

Hi Tony,

You can clone the ti-uboot from here, if you want to enable snagfactory for flashing: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-u-boot/ti-u-boot/

You need the following fragment config for snagfactory: am6x_a53_snagfactory.config, which you can find after cloning the ti-uboot from above link. After that you can follow the steps mentioned in the Am62x documentation for flashing via snagfactory.
