We'd like to plug a PCI card into our 3894 EVM, and would prefer to use the XIO2001 EVM as our PCIe-PCI adapter. Will this work? Are there any caveats? We're running the standard TI Linux package on the 3894.
Alternately, would another off-the-shelf PCI/PCIe adapter (such as the Startech, based on a PLX chip I believe) work?
I'm fuzzy on exactly where the software resides to support these adapters. Is it built into the Linux?
