AM335x WinCE ethernet based protocols / stack

I have a customer who indicated he is internet reports of people using the AM335x in industrial networks. He is primarily interested in implementing ethernet based protocols on WinCE. I looked in ESP and did not find anything indicating WinCE (or Windows Comact 7) support for the AM335x. The TMDXEVM3358 EVM board shows support for Linux and Android.

1. Is there going to be a BSP for WinCE (or Windows Compact 7)?

2. Will it support ethernet based protocols (for example TCP/IP, UDP, etc.)?

3. What is the time line if it is going to be supported?

1. Yes - BSP for Embedded Compact 7. EA is currently available (on Alpha EVM)

2. Yes - it is part of WinCE OS

Is this something that I can sign up for under my registered software - like CE BSP for Omap35xx?

Alpha EVM? Is it available with the AM3359 Industrial Communications Engine (ICE)?

Will I only be able to get involved with this in Q1 - when in Q1?

You have to talk to your local TI rep to see if you quality for EA release - currently, it is available for select customers only. It does not support Industrial kit

How do I find my local TI rep? Any idea when in Q1 this will get past EA release?

Pity it only supports the EVM as it only has one Ethernet port.

Ethercat needs both the ports of the device to work.

Both the IDK & the ICE have this support.
