DM368 high arm CPU usage

Hi all,

I use dm368 as a H.264 decoder, and receive data from network.

The data amount is 800KBytes/second, and I use EDMA to transfer YUV data to VPBE for display.

As a result, the CPU usage is up to 80%!! Why?!

Archer,

1. Can you run top command and find which therad is taking the CPU MHz ? We need to find if it is EDMA or codec or some other application code.

2. If you are concerened with system b/w, you should give the decoder buffer directly to VPBE instead of doing a DMA copy.

CPU MHz

network receiver : 60% up

H264 decoder : 20%

I think I should optimize my TCP/UDP app.
