AM62L-PROCESSOR-SDK: MMC Speed Configuration Issue – eMMC Not Achieving HS200 Speed

Part Number: AM62L-PROCESSOR-SDK

Tool/software:

Dear TI Support,

working with the TI AM62L3 processor and facing an issue where the eMMC, which should support HS200 speed as per the datasheet, is only operating at 50MHz when checked using mmc info in U-Boot. Additionally, in the user area, the eMMC is also detected in High Speed (HS) mode instead of HS200. To resolve this, I have tried adding configurations in the device tree, including ti,otap-del-sel-hs200, but none of the changes resulted in achieving HS200 speed. I would like to understand what modifications are required in the device tree, drivers, U-Boot, or kernel to enable the maximum supported MMC speed for both eMMC and microSD. Could you please provide guidance on the necessary configurations, including any relevant clock settings, pad configurations, or register updates? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Dheeraj K
