CCSTUDIO: CCS different build option for *.C and *.asm

Part Number: CCSTUDIO

Tool/software:

Hello team,

.

Seems it is possible to have different build option for *.c and *.asm when using Makefile.

.

However, seems there is no such option when using CCS. Is there any way to set different option in CCS?

Regards,

Victor Park

  • Hi Victor,

Can you please tell us which specific option are you looking for?

  • Hello Tushar,

    .

I haven't heard specific option that they are going to use. Focus point is on if it is possible to have different options for *.asm and *.c as I showed above(Makefile). No matter which option customer wants to use, I'm curious if there is such control in CCS same as Makefile.

  • Hi Victor,

Yes, I am not aware if all the options are there or not, but most of the option are available.

  • Hello Tushar,

    .

Thanks for reply but seems I couldn't deliver question point clearly. As far as I understand, using Makefile can build both *.asm and *.c in sequential. While building these, Makefile could give different building options for *.asm and *.c.  However, when using CCS, seems only common build option can be used for both *.asm and *.c. Seems there is no feature to provide different and separate options for *.asm and *.c.  Could you please comment on this?

Yes the above understanding is correct. There is no feature to provide different and separate option for *.asm and *.c.
