Hi, Expect,
Customer want to use RAW 10bit input for RAW model. Do we have a demo for this and how to support the RAW model ? Thanks in advance!

Hi Fredy;
Thanks for the question.
I am not sure what your definition of "Raw 10bit" model is.
TIDL supports 8bits or 16bits input. So if you want to preserve all the 10bits for accuracy, then you can select 16bits model input. Or you can select the 8bit model, the performance will be improved, however you will lost the lowest 2bits, which may have impact for the accuracy.
If you refer to the image/video data format during pre-process, you can do the simple truncation during the process for 8bit RGB image input format.
Thanks and regards
Wen
Hi Wen,
Here, the RAW input means the RAW Bayer data, which is coming directly from the camera. It is not in YUV or RGB format. It would be in Bayer format, which could 8, or 10 or 12bit data.

Hi Brijesh;
Thanks for the clarification.
I would think this can be done in the pre-processing stage if TIDL core does not take the RAW Bayer format. Some interpolation filter and color space conversion may be involved. But I don't know if we already have a demo for this.
Fredy;
What is the frame rate of their image sensor output? Are they concerning about the throughput of the data flow? Or image quality?
