Have you gotten GDB to work with more complex muti threaded demos? I was able to get it to work with a simple one file mutithreaded application after i updated code sourcery, but i still have crashing problems when i try to debug something like an OMX demo. I know most of the files of built for debug, but does every single library have to be build with debug options in order for it not to crash? Also i wanted to double check, I am supposed to be copying the gdbserver from the code sourcery installation to the target correct? Which one should i be using? there is the libc and thumb2 and they seem to be very different in size.

It works for me.  For instructions see:

To put a breakpoint on a user thread type:

b <threah_func>

find the line of interest and put a breakpoint there.

I do not use OMX, so I cannot help you with that.

I would think that all files would need to be built for debug using the -g option.

I don't think the problem is with GDB or the fact that there are multiple threads.  Rather I think the problem has something to do with OMX/syslink.  

Anyone?
