Customer wants to test the READ/WRITE function of SPI0 on SK-AM62B-P1

Should I choose k3-am62-lp-sk.dts or k3-am625-sk.dtb?

How do I add SPI0 to the device tree?

Can I see SPI related information in /proc/device-terr or dmesg? How can I do it?

Customers want to modify the decision tree so that they can test SPI

For this board you'd want to modify the k3-am625-sk.dts file in Linux.

As for how to test read/write, the easiest is you start from the "Linux Userspace Interface" section near the end of the SDK documentation page here:

As for what you need to do is you need to do there's countless E2E posts on this topic (try searching as needed) that should be helpful, for example this one here is pretty comprehensive and also covers some things that could go wrong...

The spidev_test.c tool part of the Kernel tree is a handy tool you should try using for this.

For testing purposes (as a "hack") you could potentially modify the Kernel's spidev driver to directly send/receive SPI data right at the end of its probe function? Either way this is generic Linux/Kernel development and not specific to our MPUs, so we can only provide some very limited support for such topics here. You may also want to look at our MCU+ SDK to allow you direct and low-level access w/ full timing control of the SPI peripheral for a non-Linux approach to this.
