MMC/SD support in Linux Kernel has to be turned off if using NAND/NOR flash?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138, AM1808

Hello,

In the following wiki for OMAP-L1/AM1x, there is a warning about having to disable MMC support if NAND support is to be enabled in Linux Kernel configuration because of them being pin multiplexed.

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/GSG:_Building_Software_Components_for_OMAP-L1/AM1x#NAND

1. Is it applicable to OMAP-L138/AM1808  platform?

2. if yes, why is there no information related to it in the AM1808 Technical reference manual or the user guide for MMC card?
