Hi Ti Tech Support Team,

I want to understand on Integrated USB VBUS detection , we followed the recommended Hardware design in our custom board as below:

As per datasheet the recommended operating voltage range for USB0_VBUS pin is 0 V to 3.465V,

I want to understand on its working logic ; I understood this pin is a Voltage sensing pin where Processor sense the Voltage on this pin to decide USB Bus is active or not active.

I want to know the Voltage ranges hardcoded in processor code for this both stages i.e., USB Bus Active and when USB Bus not active,

This information is not available. But the USB VBUS voltage on the USB connector (0~5v) should meet the requirement in the USB2.0 Specification, which defines the different states of the VBUS.

Agree; such design details disclosure (if available) would require NDAs.

HI Jim,

We have NDA signed. We want to understand what is the voltage level defined in SOC to decide USB bus is in active stage and what is the voltage level defined in SOC to decide USB bus is not active stage.

We observed that USB module reset in BCI test.

Hi Tejas,

As I mentioned above, all the VBUS stages (different threshold voltages) are defined in the USB2.0 Specifications.
