Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352
Tool/software:
Dear TI Support Team,
Hi,
We are currently using the AM3352 for a system and have implemented encryption using wolfSSL.
However, we are experiencing a significant performance drop (approximately 95%) when encryption is enabled, as shown below:
-
Without encryption: 16.7MB/s
-
With encryption (wolfSSL): 0.73MB/s
To address this issue, we are considering migrating to a newer SoC such as the AM64x, which features the hardware crypto accelerator, to improve encryption throughput.
We would appreciate your guidance on the following points:
-
Typical throughput of AES encryption using AM64x and wolfSSL
-
Current integration status of wolfSSL in TI’s Linux SDK, and availability of reference implementations
- Comparison of wolfSSL implementations on AM3352, AM64x, and AM62x
Thanks,
Conor
