  • What emulator are you using?  The on-board one?  What type of emulator do you have CCS  configured for?  What version of CCS are you using?

  • Pradeepraj,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. We hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages. Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others have asked on similar topics.

In particular, you may find some guidance from the TI Wiki Pages. I did a search there for "debugging emulator problems" (no quotes) and found several relevant hits. The first one on the list looks very helpful: Debugging JTAG Connectivity Problems. Please take a look at that Wiki topic.

Otherwise, my advice would be to check your cables, uninstall and reinstall CCS, and make sure you follow every installation step exactly and in the exact same sequence. For example, if you plug in the USB cable before installing the USB drivers, some emulators will require you to manually uninstall the drivers from Window's Device Manager.

Your answers to Dan's questions will help the real experts like Dan to give you the best advice and guidance. You may want to add the PC Windows version you are using.

    Regards,
    RandyP
