Hi,

Almost all of the "example.sysconf" for A53 only shows 17 of TI Drivers whereas R5F shows 27. How can I change

the available drivers instances on the "LEFT COLUMN" to include DDR and ESM or any other peripheral interface that I wish ?

The peripheral drivers which are not available with the Sysconfig GUI for a core indicates that those peripheral or module for the specific core is not supported.

OK then how can I use DDR4 driver with A53 core ? Is the build in Linux Yocto available for use of DDR4 driver instead of SYSCONF in CCS (Window) ?

What is the point of using this AM64xx family without ability to use DDR4 driver for memory with SoC core? As far as I am concerned Window CCS with SYSCONFIG is not an issue id I cannot use it. However; I need to know if the A53 core can use iDDRSS ? This is serious matter to us with this situation.

To follow up if the future release of SDK allow A53 to use iDDRSS ?? When do you expect it ?

Hi Huynh,

The DDR initialization is already done as part of SBL. You don't need to initialize it again using the A53 application.

Hi Huynh,

The above link doesn't tells about DDR, it is link to the SBL examples provided with SDK and it's working details.

The SBL NULL as a part of SOC initialization also initializes the DDR. You can see the SBL code in the SDK, DDR will be initialized as part of System_init() call.
