Error in insmod vpss.ko

Hi,

I am getting the bellow error while doing insmod vpss.ko
notify_send_event failed! status = 0xfffffff0
Prior to this insmod syslink.ko, loading prcm_config_app, and M3 binaries are successful.

I also tried with insmod vpss.ko sbufaddr=0xBFB00000 still getting the same error.

Please can you tell me why am getting this error and how to fix the same.
Where do we get this sbufaddr and are there any other options that I can try.

    Hi Ramakrishna,

     

    You need to add the following parameters in linux bootargs notifyk.vpssm3_sva=<NOTIFY_SECTION_STARTING_ADDRESS>

    Please check your map file to find the NOTIFY_SECTION_STARTING_ADDRESS.

    Check VPSS user guide that comes with PSP for more information.
