The PVU in the J721S2 controls and limits the UDMA and memory area.

For the GPU, Is there anything the PVU do?

My question is.. the PVU can controls and limits the memory area which the GPU uses.

I can't find any documents for PVU and how to protect memory for GPU.

I used ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721s2-evm-10_01_00_04 and psdkqa for QNXOS.
Anyway, is it related with SDK version? I asked about function of IP (PVU, GPU).

Hello,

Yes I understand, just wanted context before we proceed. And yes, you are correct that PVU does provide memory protections for the GPU along with all bus masters (CPU, DSP, VPU, etc.) Software can be added to control the TLB entries that pertain to the GPU but that control appears to not be currently supported by the SDK. Additionally, the GPU itself does not have any direct PVU-specific settings since the PVU operates independently to enforce memory access policies.

Moreover, QNX owns the GPU driver for their HLOS, so any questions regarding the GPU driver on QNX OS should be directed to them.
