TDA4VH-Q1: Black patch flickering on eDP for RGB565 format

Hi ,

on eDP port display for RGB565 format , we are observing black patch flickering, and its not stable its moving either up or down.

I have attached video for reference. Please let us know what can be the fix for this .

Hi,

Could you elaborate on what you mean by RGB565 support on eDP? How is the image generated? It seems you are using mosaic node and looks like only flicker is observed only in lower two channels.. Are there channels correct from VISS and also from Mosaic node?

camera ---nv12-->GPU_Rendering----RGB565--> Display

The images are generated correctly verified by dumping frame in a file.

Because I can't upload 15 to 20 min video... This black patch flickering moves from down to up gradually in cyclic way irrespective of all 4 camera view the views have no flickering effect.

hi,

Could you please tell me the exact openVX format that you are using for RGB565? Also could you please confirm that this issue was not seen earlier with RGB888 format?

Is it possible to share the output file from GPU to see if it looks correct?
