I want to bring up a camera by connecting it to the CPI port.
Is there a use case that I can refer to?
Or is there a separate guide?

Hi Kim,
unfortunately, there is no example using CPI interface in the vision sdk.

If look at the link below, it seems like there is a use case worth referencing, right?

Kim
ok, can you please refer to iss usecase with ar0140 sensor input?
But why do you need CPI port? Isn't it possible to use VIP port instead?

Brijesh
I am considering two blocks, VIP and CPI.
Is there a big difference in performance between the two blocks?
The purpose is to capture camera data and run DSP and EVE algorithms.

Kim
Hi Kim,
No, difference in terms of performance between these two blocks. In general VIP has other blocks in the pipelines, like chroma downsampler, so you could use them.. After capturing data in memory, yes you could process them on DSP and/or EVE.

Brijesh
Hi,
Is it because of the difference in two blocks that VIP and CPI are divided?
I wonder if it was necessary to divide them

Kim
hi,
These two are different module in TDA3x, even though both support parallel input.
