AM62A7-Q1: Pins Status in Low power mode Transition

Part Number: AM62A7-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi TI Experts,

In "Power State Transition Diagram"  we want to drive  "DeepSleep" and "MCU only" states.

As per datasheets

In  Deepsleep wakeup event are below

"GP Timers, RTC Timer, UART, I2C, WKUP GPIO, I/O Daisy Chain"

In  MCU only, wakeup event are below

"GP Timers, RTC Timer, UART, I2C, WKUP GPIO, I/O Daisy Chain, Any MCU channel interrupt event"

Q.1- If state change from Active to MCU only or Deepsleep,  What will the status of other pins in this Transition. Will it get changed or keep the state same as last state?

Q.2- If If state change from DeepSleep or MCU only to Active, What will the status of other pins in this in this Transition. Will it get changed or keep the state same as last state?

  • Hello,

For Deep Sleep and MCU Only, the peripheral context states are saved into DDR before its put into self refresh. Upon wakeup, the previous context state will be pulled from DDR and re-applied to the various peripheral.

    Best Regards,

    Anshu
