AM620-Q1: How to enable kernel KASAN debug?

Current SDK version is Processor SDK 10.00.07.04. How to enable kernel KASAN debug? Or can provide kernel debug version defconfig file？

Hi Xiulin,

The Processor SDK kernel doesn't have KASAN enabled, but reading through kernel, it should be enabled with option CONFIG_KASAN.

Hi Bin,

I try to config CONFIG_KASAN and CONFIG_SLUB_DEBUG, it can detach stack oob and invalid-free, can not detach user-after-free and kmalloc/free oob.

Can you verify it on your EVM board?

Hi Xiulin,

KASAN is a kernel feature irrelated to AM62x device and it is not validated in the SDK. How to enable KASAN is out of the support scope on this forum. Please ask the open source community for help.
