DSK connection with win7

Hi all.
I try to connect with win7 tms320c6713 DSK kit but is not. I did update the driver successfully, but when running the program DSK Diagnostics 6713 Utility v3.1 is an error not connected
I do the same with winxp, everything is ok.
hope everyone's help

  • Lam Dong,

Which version of CCS are you using? If this is CCS 3.3, please see the Wiki topic here.

You may need to check with the board vendor to be sure their drivers are available for Win7. If everything works okay with WinXP and not on Win7, then the Wiki page may be the key, that Win7 is not officially supported by CCS 3.x.

  • Thanks for your reply.

The device's driver is not available for win7. It's available for XP, 2000. Hopefully providers will give driver for win7 in the near future..

  • Lam Dong,

You have not stated but I will guess that you are using CCS 3.x. Support has been ended for this product, so I would not expect new drivers to be developed for it, unless you see that specifically stated somewhere.

You should move to the latest version of CCSv5. Be sure to check the information on the TI Wiki Pages page GSG:Common target configurations for advice on setting up the emulation.
