J721EXSOMXEVM: How to access the MCU Domain Timers?

Hi Arun,

Any specific reason for using MCU domain timer for measure performance? Can you use common timer like GTC? In the vision apps, we use common GTC timer for measuring performance..

I want to use the MCU domain timers as part of my benchmark app to minimize any overhead that can be injected and mess with the results.

And this app is for benchmarking the real-time core cortex rf5 on MCU1_0. The timers available in the MCU Domain seemed the best way to obtain the execution time.

And as for the GTC, how can I access them? Any documentation available for the same?

you can use TimerP module in the OSAL layer to access MCU timer.
