Hello,

I would like to inquire about how to use the GPMC signal and VOUT signal together.

We need to use HDMI 1. We also need to use GPMC MODE.
GPMC needs to use multiplexed mode.
However, the DSS0 VOUT signal and most of the GPMC signals overlap.

If AM62A7 structurally uses HDMI using the DSS0 VOUT signal, is it difficult to use GPMC MODE ?

I would like to know how to use them together.

I suggest you look at the sysconfig tool. You can find the online version at https://dev.ti.com/ (an account is required) or you can download from https://www.ti.com/tool/SYSCONFIG

Select the desired part from the device menu (leave Software Product blank)

The tool will allow you to explore which use cases can be configured simultaneously

Hello Paul,

When using GPMC and DSS functions in the SYSCONFIG TOOL you mentioned, it seems that there is a resource conflict.

Is there no other way? Should we choose another ARM CPU?

Make sure You select the appropriate use case for each peripheral instance.

The below snapshots show an 8-bit NAND GPMC use case together with a 24-bit Raster DSS use case. However, not all GPMC use cases will work with all DSS use cases due to pin muxing limitations.
