Hi,

We are planning to use AM6442 with F series, need to know information about PRU-ICSS usage.

The PRU block used for etherCAT stack, the same PRU block is used for DeviceNET stack, one at a time?

Please help in the same.

Hi Avothu,

DeviceNET is not supported in PRU-ICSS. Details on supported protocols can be found here - https://www.ti.com/tool/IND-COMMS-SDK

We have a requirement to use third party DeviceNET source, will PRU-ICSS will support or where we can use?

Hi Avothu,

PRU ICSS does not support CAN protocol. You can explore if you can use CAN supported in AM243 to implement DeviceNet - https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM243X/latest/exports/docs/api_guide_am243x/DRIVERS_MCAN_PAGE.html

We are working on EtherCAT Slave stack on FreeRTOS using TI https://www.ti.com/tool/IND-COMMS-SDK, Can we get performance result for it in order to proceed with our development?
