Dear TI experts,
May I know if TDA4AEN-Q1 support LED Flicker Mitigation?
hi,
no there is no HW module to support this feature.

Hi Brijesh,
So, we need to use camera sensor's AE algorithm that includes LED Flicker Mitigation or add LED Flicker Mitigation algorithm in TI ISP's source code by ourselves. Is it correct?
Hi Brijesh,
May I know if we use Sony IMX728's AE and TI's AWB, is there any conflict about 2A stats and ISP working flow?
Hi Huang,
There should not be, but have not really checked it. I doubt this sensor is supported in the SDK.

Brijesh
Hi Brijesh,
Yes, IMX728 is supported in the SDK. But we're not sure if we can replace TI's AE by sensor AE only.
Hi Huang,
I think we can just run AEWB algo for AWB and turn off AE. I will request Gang Hua to help you here.

Brijesh
Hi Taylar,

We are not familiar with IMX728's AE which you would have to check with Sony.
There is no conflict on TDA4 if sensor controls its own exposure.
Anything driven by TI AE output (e.g., changing VISS parameters according to TI AE output) must be modified to be driven by sensor exposure information.
Yes, IMX728 is supported in the SDK. But we're not sure if we can replace TI's AE by sensor AE only.
You would have to disable AE on TDA4.

As far as I know, IMX728 LFM only requires that at least 10ms or 11ms exposure time from SoC.
You may confirm with Sony for the details.
