Hello,

I am using Buildroot for everything, my rootfs is minimal, using BusyBox init, using original TI Kernel 6.12.17 with RT configuration.

With this Kernel configuration: opened support for I2C display (solomon,ssd1306) and overlayfs, device tree works fine.

When add initramfs to kernel config, device tree not working, boot sequence switches to EFI-GRUB.

How can i fix it ?

Note: I cant use Yocto because its learning curve very bad and TI-Yocto has so much thing that i do not need even with smallest config.

Hello,

I have discovered my kernel+initramfs overlaps with FDT image.

Working FDT set to 88000000
## Flattened Device Tree blob at 88000000
   Booting using the fdt blob at 0x88000000
ERROR: FDT image overlaps OS image (OS=82000000..91510000)

After changing fdt_addr to 0x92000000 over u-boot console it worked normally.

Then i saw my kernel+initramfs was wrong build, initramfs had real rootfs instead of minimal one. Changed it with clean rebuild, now works normal.

Using kernel-config from git has problem with SDCard reading at startup. U-boot starts from SDCard and opens kernel but kernel cant detect SDCard back.

Instead, using SDK's kernel-config (ti-processor-sdk-linux-am64xx-evm-11.00.09.04) works normally.
