I am trying to access the ATCM0, BTCM0, ATCM1, BTCM1 memory regions.

I am able to access the BTCM0, read and write. But for other memory regions, my app is getting compiled without any issue but it hangs / no output in console when trying to access other regions.

Can you help me understand why this behavior?

I found this from the TRM.

Do I have to enable the CPUn_INITRAMA to get access to the ATCM? (by default it is set to 0)

Do you mean you want to access the TCM memories of both the R5F in lockstep mode? Let me check internally on this and get back on how to enable it.

Btw, are TCM memories enabled? If not enable, even 32KB memory will not be accessible. So the first think is to enable TCM memories. I think there are CSL level APIs in PDK to enable TCM memories. 

Once they are enabled and if the lockstep mode is enabled, then TCM memory size is doubled ie becomes 64 KB (0x10000) at each of 0x41000000 and 0x41010000 for core0.

Could you please point me to the CSL level API? I am not able to find it in the API Guide - PDK API Guide for J721E: CSL-FL.

If I enable all the TCM memories (ATCM0, BTCM0, ATCM1, BTCM1), in Split - Mode, then can I access the mcu1_1 core TCMs (ATCM1, BTCM1) from the mcu1_0 R5F0 core, using the SoC view addresses?

Hi Arun,

Are you looking for this feature on J721E? This is because this feature is not supported on this platform. So TCM size cannot be extended in lockstep mode on J721E.

Hi Arun,

So you want to access TCM memories of all R5F in split mode? As such, they can be as long as they are enabled locally from the R5F. 

Regarding system address, can you please refer to TRM?
