Hi,
we are looking to update a legacy design with a GP processor to use a high security processor, but I'm not sure what we need to acquire for evaluation. I've seen reference to the high security EVK having a socket vs a soldered down CPU, and I assume this is so we can swap out chips with burnt fuses for new ones.
I'm struggling to find any other documentation, although I do already have ift and am able to generate firmware.
My questions are:
1) Does the EVK come with one or more high security CPUs?
2) What do we need to do to prepare a new CPU for installation? It it enough to take a new CPU directly out of the reel and insert, or is there a process to prepare it?
3) If we need additional CPUs for evaluation, is there a particular version we should use?
