I am developing a C++ app to work on AM625 device and I need to access the GPU of the device to run model inference.

Is there any documentation or library to access GPU on application level?

Our GPU expert is out of office till May 19th

The GPU can be accesses only via standard API (GLES, OCL, VULKAN). If your AI code uses GLES or VULKAN, then I believe you can make progress.

Hello,

If your GPU expert is available, I would like to ask further questions.

1) My main goal is to run a small YOLO model on another part (GPU or the co-processor), as I will use the CPU for other things. Is there any way I can either access GPU or the DSP module of the co-processor on application development level? If so, can you provide documentation for it?

2) I have also looked into TI Deep Learning tool for AM57x devices. Can you recommend your other devices for running ML model inference applications within similar price range of AM625?

Hi,

I don't really follow the question because whatever your framework is must use OpenGL or OpenCL to offload the operation to GPU. For example, TFLite has the following: https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/tree/master/tensorflow/lite/delegates/gpu. For #2, please create another thread and we will keep this post specific to the GPU.
