AM625: SDK11 instructions for RPMsg between ARM and PRU are for the wrong board

I amt trying to run through the instructions for RPMsg Communication between ARM and PRU listed in the AM62x SDK 11 release notes. I cloned the pru software support package as instructed and tried to import the lab 5 solutions, but no projects were discovered in the "Discovered projects" section. For reference I am using CCS v12.8.1. Additionally the path listed in the release note instructions do not exist, and I had to go to <WORK_DIR>/pru-software-support-package/labs/Hands_on_Labs/lab_5/solution/am62x to find the solutions/projects. Lastly I noticed that in step 3, the instructions update the include search path with the am335x include. It seems these instructions are either outdated, for the wrong board, or both. Could you please provide me with the correct/updated instructions. Thank you.

First, please enable PRU RPMsg as per these pages

PRU RPMsg is broken in SDK 11.0, so in the SDK 11.0 release notes I included a link to this FAQ with steps on how to enable PRU RPMsg:

Discussing the hands-on labs

The PRU Hands-on labs were written for AM335x specifically. Later on I added support for other devices in Labs 5 and 6, but it has been years since I touched these instructions. It does not look like I rewrote the instructions when I added software support for non-AM335x devices.

When we released the AM62x, I published the PRU Getting Started Labs. If this is your first time programming the PRU cores, I would suggest starting there. If you have any feedback on the Getting Started Labs, please let us know in a separate e2e thread. We are currently working on adding a new PRU Academy module to the AM62x academy, and one of the first things we are working on is the next version of the Getting Started Labs. So any feedback you have could get translated directly into updated documentation.

You can think of the PRU Academy module like Getting Started Labs + Hands on Labs + a lot of additional documentation and labs.

No exact timeframe yet on when the first version of the PRU Academy will go live. I am hoping for sometime later this summer, but we'll see how quickly the team makes progress.
