The mouse I’m using operates at 5V and draws 100mA, which is well within the switch's current limits.
Additionally, I’m using the AM64x Starter Kit board, which is a TI-manufactured evaluation board.

As a test, I connected a processor board (which also runs on 5V) to the USB Host port using a USB-A to Micro-USB adapter cable. Power was successfully delivered to the board.
During this test, the 5V output dropped slightly to around 4.87V while the board was connected, and it returned to 5V after the board was disconnected.

Can you please confirm if 5V is available on VUSB_TYPEA pin of J7 when the mouse is connected.

If yes, i m not sure if the USB3 to USB2 translation is causing issues with the mouse power-up.

Is there a way you can connect any other load to the SK-AM64B J7 connector and test.

Yes, when I connect the mouse and measure the voltage on the VUSB_TYPEA pin of J7, the voltage remains stable. What kind of test would you like me to perform exactly? For example, when I connect it to a processor, the LED on the processor lights up as expected.
I’m already disabling USB3.0 and starting in USB2.0 mode using the usb_init function. Could you confirm if this is the correct approach? Also, is there anything else I should check to resolve the issue?

When I inspect it with a logic analyzer, I can clearly see that there is no data exchange with the mouse, whereas when I connect an EVM board, data is transmitted to the system. As I already mentioned, the mouse LEDs do not turn on, but the EVM board operates correctly.

We are currently using mcu_plus_sdk_am64x_10_01_00_32 on the AM64x Starter Kit. Our development involves NoRTOS and the USB Host stack for device communication. We're primarily working on low-level driver integration and application logic in C.
