Switch settings
Bootmodes are selected using the SW3 and SW4 switches on the EVM. Most common boot method is to use SD card.
Following are the switch settings to set the boot mode to SD for the EVM.
SW3[1:8] = 1100 0010 SW4[1:8] = 0100 0000

>> this is SD card boot, I tested this, evm can boot into linux success+.

For example: BOOTMODE [8:15] (SW4) = 1100 0000 BOOTMODE [0:7] (SW3) = 1101 0010.

We have tried the above boot mode combination. J722S can boot normally from emmc

<- Is it right for boot from eMMC ?

Sorry for the late reply.

Regarding SW2 settings,you can follow as per below image.

Yes the settings which you have applied are correct.

The above settings provided in the u-boot link is also right.

Reason:

B7,B8 and B9 refers to the last bit(8th bit) of SW3 and 1st and 2nd bit of SW4 which are basically reserved.Hence it doesn't matter if those bits are set or unset.

Also can you help us by closing this thread,if this issue is resolved.
