SK-AM62P-LP: When killing the process, the release of encoder resources failed

Part Number: SK-AM62P-LP

Tool/software:

hi,experts:

When we were stress testing the process, we encountered a situation where the process could not be killed. After investigation, it was found that the failure to release the encoder resources occurred. Below is the kernel print. Please help analyze the cause.

  • Hi Qinghong,

What version of SDK are you seeing this issue with? Also, can you let us know how are you stress testing this scenario to reproduce on our end?

Can you provide us the actual test that you are trying to validate?

    Best Regards,

    Suren

  • Hi Suren,
We are using the 10.0 SDK, Our testing method is very simple. We just kill our application process, pull it up after about 10 seconds, and repeat this operation. After about 17 times, this error occurred. But this error does not necessarily occur after about 20 tests. We have tested 1,000 times before and this error has not occurred.

I would like to ask you for help to check whether the error of the encoder can be analyzed from the screenshot

  • Hi qinghong,

The log only tells  "encoder is getting turned off which causes that read to fail since there is no register to read". We can not find more useful information from it. We need more logs and an easier way to reproduce this issue to further debug. 1000 times test is not so reasonable.

    Regards,

    Adam
