Does TI OMX VENC component have interface to set SEI?

Hi,

I am using the DM8168 EVM (EZSDK5.03) to developing video streaming applications based on H.264 encoding. I have some questions:

1. Does TI VENC OMX component provide an interface to set SEI information? It is noted that the TI H.264 encoder does provide such an interface.

2. Is video capturing component (VFCC) providing the time stamp information together with the frame captured?

3. When will the gstreamer for DM8168 be released?

That sounded actually good - until by looking into the sources I got the feeling that your current gstreamer implementation of the h.264 encoder element might be completely based on the concerning OMX component - with all its limitations, especially concerning support of metadata buffers (see this thread).

Is this my fear founded?
