Would like to know this decision was made please? It means that one needs to also install MCU+ SDK v 11 to be compatible? Does that mean those on MCU+ SDK v 10.1 must also install MCU+ SDK v 11 ?

We picked the latest MCU+ SDK available (11.0) as customers will invariably ask for 10.1 to 11.0 update as soon as release is made due to fixed issues mentioned here: AM64x MCU+ SDK: Release Notes 11.00.00
AM64x INDUSTRIAL COMMUNICATIONS SDK: Introduction includes dependent MCU+ SDK as part of the release package. So not clear about the comment on skip compatibility.
A lot of confusion is there due to expectation that Industrial Communications SDK (ICSDK) and Motor Control SDK (MCSDK) is version locked with MCU+ SDK. To avoid this in future, starting July 2025, ICSDK and MCSDK will use year-based versions, 2025.0.x for releases. This will package the latest MCU+ SDK available at the time of the release so that customers can get access to the relevant bugfixes.
