AM62P: Android Automotive OS Support

Tool/software:

We are exploring TI AM62P for Digital Cockpit applications and hence need to know AAOS SDK support for it.

I have seen Android (AOSP) SDK but not sure about AAOS SDK. Any body using or tried it?

Hi Sridhar,

Base build support for the Car UI which uses AAOS is supported and the system boots up in Car UI.

There is also a sample map application.

There is no full fledged AAOS SDK.

I assume the SoC is capable of Digital Cockpit applications, does TI have any Hypervisor support available to run Linux and AAOS in parallel?

We don't have hypervisor solution on AM62P readily available from TI.

we have customer going in production with Digital cockpit solution (Instrument Cluster + Infotainment functions integrated in single SoC) on AM62P.
