CCSTUDIO: Please provide procedures to add processor and libraries?

Resource Explorer will only show content that is available as a Resource Explorer package. PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM57X is not available in Resource Explorer.

Ki, in our old CCS IDE interface (12.xx) we can add "products" discovery paths under Windows -> Preferences -> Products. How can this be done in new CCS 20.x? Or, how new CCS knows from where to find SDKs and lib?

Hello Keiichi-san,

Although one can use CCS 20.x for development and as an IDE, it is not yet adopted nor supported by the product line. Furthermore, if you are using TI RTOS, the extended functionality, ROV, from TI RTOS that was provided by earlier versions of CCS (12.x and below) is no longer supported on the newer version - See: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/code_composer_studio%E2%84%A2_academy_2_20_02_00/_build_code_composer_studio%E2%84%A2_academy_2_20_02_00/source/gs/migration/sub-migration/m3-debug.html#rtos-objects-view

I'm trying to add PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM57X (v09.03.00.00), C66X-FFTLIB (v2.0.0.2) & C66X-MATHLIB (v3.1.2.1) to CCSTUDIO (v20.1.1).

So should I install CCSTUDIO (v12) or older version if I would like to add above 3 options?

I have tried to add PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM57X (v09.03.00.00), C66X-FFTLIB (v2.0.0.2) & C66X-MATHLIB (v3.1.2.1) to CCSTUDIO (v12.8.1), so it seems like installation of PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM57X & C66X-MATHLIB to CCSTUDIO is successfully done, but C66X-FFTLIB isn't correctly added to CCSTUDIO.

Would you mind to provide advices for questions below?

a. Do you know why CCSTUDIO can't recognize FFTLIB?

b. Is it correct if there is no "plugin folder" at "eclipse folder" after execute "fftlib_c66x_src_2_0_0_2_Win32.exe"? I would like to make sure that did I download incorrect file from TI or not.

<Procedures that I did, and results what I found after trial to add above products>

1. "fftlib_c66x_src_2_0_0_2_Win32.exe" for installation is downloaded from TI (https://www.ti.com/tool/download/C66X-FFTLIB/2.0.0.2).

2. A folder "fftlib_c66x_2_0_0_2" is created at "C:/ti" after execution of "fftlib_c66x_src_2_0_0_2_Win32.exe".

3. However, FFTLIB isn't recognized by CCSTUDIO after a procedure which you told me before. Window -> Preference -> Products and then refreshed.

4. I noticed that there is no "plugin folder" at "fftlib_c66x_2_0_0_2/eclipse".
