This is the starting address of msgRam. When operating on this part of the register, a partial offset was made in Mcan. c

Taking NBTP as an example

so you are saying the baseaddr is actually taking the msgRAMaddr rather than the (msgRAMaddr +offset) right ?

okay. This looks to be a valid request to me but let me check this API thoroughly and raise an internal ticket to fix this if needed.

Yes it is observed that the base address is 0x40500000 at MsgRAMaddr rather than at the register

I will raise a JIRA to fix this issue.
